Media Tools Ltd Trading as Turnkey / Soho Soundhouse
On Line Trading Terms and Conditions Governing Law and Contract Formation
No contract will subsist between you and Media Tools Ltd or any of its subsidiaries for the sale by it to you of any product unless and until Media Tools Ltd accepts your order by email confirming that it has shipped your product. That acceptance will be deemed complete and will be deemed for all purposes to have been effectively communicated to you at the time Media Tools Ltd sends the email to you (whether or not you receive that email). For the avoidance of doubt, any such contract will be deemed to have been concluded in the United Kingdom. Further, any such contract will be interpreted, construed and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of England, and you and Media Tools Ltd irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Important - Compatibility Issues.
With computer related goods such as software, audio interfaces and other items that connect via Firewire/USB etc, it is our experience that there is nothing wrong with the large majority of products that are reported to us as faulty. However, the process of getting the product to function correctly may take some time and/or expertise in order to resolve incompatibility issues or misunderstandings.
We therefore make a flat charge of £20 per item, plus any carriage costs involved, to overcome problems like this. We can only do this in store - if you cannot return your computer to us then you must use the technical support services of the UK distributor (see contacts list below). If we cannot get your product to work then we will deal with it as with any other faulty product (free of charge), providing you have not prevented us from making changes to the configuration of the machine and/or have been prepared to allow us to make other free upgrades in order to achieve compatibility.
Your Rights to Cancel
If you ordered by phone or internet and have not visited the store to discuss your purchase, you can request to cancel your purchase up to seven working days after delivery by:
- returning the product in person to our store (please bring your receipt with you),
- emailing us at salesmgr@turnkey.co.uk,
- phoning us on 020 7692 6618,
- writing to Turnkey Returns, 114-116 Charing Cross Road, London, WC2H 0JR (please do not send products to this address).
Your product must be complete, unused and in 'as new' condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product you must have done so without damaging or marking the product or its packaging in any way). It must be returned with the original box, packing and accessories. Software and pre-recorded media (e.g. CD, DVDs, videotapes) cannot be returned. Any 'free gifts' received with the product must also be returned.
You will receive a full refund, provided you return the product to the store or arrange for it to be collected by us (free for mainland UK addresses if the return is as a result of our error). Whatever the return method, please ensure that the item is packed to at least the same standard you received it in. We are not responsible for damage in transit if you use your own courier or if the item is insufficiently packed. Note we cannot collect from addresses outside the United Kingdom.
We cannot accept your purchase back if:
- you did not order the product by mail order or internet, or have visited the store to discuss the purchase,
- you return the product without proof of purchase,
- the product and its packaging are not returned in thier original condition, are damaged or are missing parts,
- the product is software or pre-recorded media of any type,
- the product was specially built or customised to your specification, e.g. computer systems, flightcases etc,
- the product was purchased for professional or semi-professional use (we reserve the right to require reasonable evidence that trading has been undertaken on your part as a consumer in relation to any particular transaction).
We will try to carry out our responsibilities under this agreement as soon as practicable and within 30 days of your order. If we do not carry out our responsibilities within that period we will tell you and refund, no later than 60 days after your order, any money that you may have paid to us. You may, if you prefer, extend the time in which we can carry out our responsibilities.
