Variant of the best-selling APX5A, the APX5-12 aims to make life as easy as possible for the 12-string player. As well as the comfortable cutaway body design, the neck is slimmer than on most 12-strings, so you'll not be struggling to get to grips with the beautifully vibrant jangle this powerful, stage-friendly instrument delivers.

A lush and tonally versatile amplified repertoire comes courtesy of a newly designed three-band preamp, whose adjustable midband frequency covers a broad 80Hz - 10kHz spectrum. This not only allows control over the midrange but enables reshaping part of the low and high bands in addition to the dedicated bass and treble sliders. The APX5-12A Preamp System One way systems utilized in the APX5-12A feature a piezo pickup mounted under the saddle. The newly designed preamp section provides a 3-band EQ along with an Adjustable Midrange frequency control that offers an extensive range of tonal variation. All controls are placed close to the playing position for quick access while performing.
