The Line 6 VARIAX 700 BLACK - RH combines traditional guitar craftsmanship and pioneering modelling technology to give you an instrument worthy of starting a revolution. Never before has a single guitar instantly been able to sound like twenty five drastically different guitars. With one knob and a 5-way switch, Variax will take you through an amazing collection of historic guitars.
Variax can change instantly from a classic single-coil solid-body electric to a richly detailed acoustic 12-string at the flick of a switch. String vibrations are detected by a hexaphonic bridge pickup and are converted directly into digital signals that are processed through the stored instrument models, applying unique tonal characteristics. The signal is then converted back to analog, so Variax can be plugged directly into any electric guitar amplifier.
The guitar has a great body to match the brain, beautifully shaped carved-top solid mahogany body. One-piece maple neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with a bone nut and pearl inlays. It is also equipped with XLR balanced output and a digital jack for Vetta II connectivity and can be switched from the FBV foot controller. Fitted with a custom Baggs tremolo bridge. Includes Line 6 gig bag.
