The Fender VG Stratocaster combines Fender luthier skills with Roland technology to create an innovative and versatile electric guitar. Most importantly the Fender VG is a real Fender American Series Strat.

With the Fender VG Stratocaster you no longer need to choose between a virtual and a real electric guitar. Beneath the classic American Series Stratocaster are 37-sounds based on Fender Stratocaster, Telecaster, humbucker Stratocaster, and acoustic guitars, as well as 5-alternate tunings. Each models contains Level, balanced Tone, and Volume controls, so there is no need to adjust amp settings to match the specific guitar model. The Fender VG Stratocaster is an American Series Stratocaster featuring the classic sleek contoured Strat body shape, 3 American Series single-coil pickups with 5-position pickup switching, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, synchronized tremolo bridge, 3-ply parchment pickguard and chrome hardware.

Just plug the Fender VG Stratocaster into an amp.The Fender VG Stratocaster is truelly plug and play. No special 13-pin cables, USB cables, power supply or input box is required with the Fender VG Strat. Only Mode Control and Tuning Function knobs, a small LED, and the Roland GK bridge distinguish the VG Strat from a normal Strat. Mode selects between five different guitar models: Normal non-digital Statocaster, a virtual version of an Ash bodied Strat for use with the Tuning Function, a virtual Telecaster, a 2-humbucker Strat emulation, and 5-assorted acoustic guitars from Dreadnought to Resonator. The 5-way blade pickup selector sitches between sounds in the specific modelled guitar, just as in a normal guitar.

The rotary Tune function switch on the Fender VG Stratocaster selects Normal regular tuning, Drop D, Open G, DADGAD, Bartitone/Low B, and 12-string. In Normal mode, the Tuning circuit is bypassed. The Tuning circuit is relative to your tuning, tune down to E flat, and all tunings will transpose down a half step. String tension remains constant on the Fender VG Stratocaster duiring instant tuning changes, as you don't have to turn a single tuning peg.

The Fender FG Stratocaster is powered by two AA batteries. Fender recommends rechargeable NiMh AAs which allows 10 hours of operation and can be recharged in minutes. Battery power means no additional mains cable is necessary.
