The TM-1 is the first home computer MIDI interface making use of the new Elektron Turbocharged standard. It is a USB MIDI interface capable of increasing the original MIDI bandwidth up to 10 times from your computer to compatible devices.
It is designed especially with the Machinedrum and the Monomachine in mind, but it will work perfectly with any MIDI standard gear. Apart from its classy looks and rugged brushed aluminum and steel construction, the Elektron Turbocharged protocol allows MIDI timing and bandwidth to be up to 10x more accurate.
Operation is driverless. Just plug the TM-1 into any USB port of your OSX or WinXP computer you're ready to go!
The TM-1 is included with the Machinedrum SPS-1UW in a limited bundle edition when ordered from this Elektron Direct Order Page. The increased MIDI bandwidth makes it perfect for MIDI sample dump!
