Cycling 74 Pluggo Weird Virtual Effect
Product Info
Pluggo is an extraordinary collection of more than 74 audio plug-ins that work with Mac OS sequencers and audio applications that support Steinberg's VST plug-in format and the MOTU Audio System (MAS) format used by Digital Performer.
There has never been anything close to the selection of plug-ins assembled here. With the range of sound design possibilities in Pluggo, the plug-in has moved well beyond a mere "effect." Pluggo is a real-time interactive audio processing, modulation, and even synthesis environment that works right inside your favorite audio application. Pluggo has been winning rave reviews from critics and users since its release.
Pluggo 2.0 adds MIDI support when used with VST 2.0 and MAS host applications. Pluggo plug-ins can now send and receive MIDI information, and Max/MSP developers can now develop their own MIDI processor plug-ins and virtual MIDI instruments. Two new plug-ins are included with Pluggo 2.0 that demonstrate these features: Laverne, a simple MIDI synthesizer; and M2M, a plug-in that converts MIDI information into modulation data to change the parameters of other plug-ins.
Pluggo 2.0 includes support for host synchronization, a powerful new VST 2.0 feature. A fair number of the existing Pluggo plug-ins have been redesigned to support beat-synchronized parameter changes, sample-accurate tempo sync for a plug-in's modulating LFOs, and tempo-relative settings for plug-in parameters such as delay time.
