The Alpha AER redefines the starting point of acoustic amplification. Based on the Compact 60, AER have developed a lightweight model that has no difficulties living up to the rigors of the road. Coming with the usual quality standard (without renunciation of High-End), the Alpha is a full sized member of the AER product family. Open sounding and quick in response, this amp masters different ranges and is thus not afraid of bigger instruments.
The Alpha features one input with combined 1/4" and XLR /6.3 mm Jack, that accepts mic or pickup inputs and provides 24V of phantom power. A 1/4" input socket selects between Line or Piezo settings and a built in Color switch allows for Threeband EQ control. Other features include a Digital reverb, effects loop, built in tuner, headphones line-in and a footswitch input.
The Alpha 40W hybrid Amp (20 Hz) drives a dual cone 8" speaker and is just 10.43" x 10.24" x 09.25" in size.
