This microphone was designed for Critical Audiophile Applications such as Orchestral Recordings in Fine Acoustical Environments. With very low noise specifications, the "TL" is ideal for Chamber Music, and for Classical Recordings when clarity and detailed response is vital.
It is an extremely transparent microphone for applications such as Concert Grand Pianos, Orchestral Percussion, all manner of strings and brass; for Choirs, or Broadcast Voice-Talent. With four polar patterns, it offers great versatility!! By 2002 ADK had a dozen US Symphonies as End Users.
