This microphone was designed for Critical Audiophile Applications such as Orchestral Recordings in Fine Acoustical Environments. With very low noise specifications, the "SL" is ideal for Chamber Music, and Classical Recordings when clarity and detailed response is vital.
Like all ADK "T" Series, the "SL" is a very transparent microphone that can be used on Concert Grand Pianos; for Male and Female Vocals and for Broadcast Voice-Talent Applications. The SL achieves remarkable results when used for Drum Overheads.
