The S5VA MK2 is a four - way vertically oriented studio monitor incorporating ADAM’s proprietary Accelerated Ribbon Technology (A.R.T.) folded ribbon tweeter and midrange units, which provide an amazingly life-like and detailed image. It houses both 9“ and 12.5” Hexacone® woofers consisting of a honeycomb core coated with Kevlar on both sides, allowing for extremely deep and tight bass response. Both of the ART folded ribbon drivers and the smaller woofer are each driven by 150W ICE Power amplifiers, a corresponding 500W unit powers the bigger woofer.
The S5VA MK2 was designed to be used as either a midfield or main monitor in the most demanding professional recording, mixing, and surround studios and applications
